This is a follow-up and prequel to the requested short fiction Betrayal, the idea coming from Paul Quinn.

A Storm Approaches is set in a time in Earth’s future when man has travelled and populated much of the galaxy. Even during this time though there is corruption and crime. This tale follows the exploits of a small Police unit, stationed on the old decaying colony of our very own Moon. Captain Jacob Anderson and Officer Khomas Brock enter a derelict part of the city, following up on a lead to a major criminal within the sector. What unfolds shows the beginning of why a loyal friend and comrade would become as tainted as the felons he spent years hunting down.

Warning: This story contains scenes of violence.
